Uploading Audio

The fourth step in creating a job is uploading the audio to be transcribed.

DepoScribe accepts a wide range of file types for audio including mp3, mp4, aac, ogg, trm, m4a, and more. If you have an additional file type you would like us to support, you can let us know at support@deposcribe.ai.

DepoScribe can accept a single file of the complete recording or individual files recording separate speakers.

If you have an event that was split into multiple recordings, like For The Record or CourtSmart does, you can use our Concatenate Audio Tool to join those files together into a single recording for use with DepoScribe. This audio tool is included for all DepoScribe customers.

Once you have uploaded your audio files, you can choose how many speakers are included in the recording. This setting defaults to Many, which will separate out individual speakers.

If you are uploading individual recordings per person, say from a Zoom meeting, you can choose the One option, which will reduce the time needed to transcribe the audio and prevent that person from potentially being split into multiple speakers.
